The best design feature is how I log into the old site, then when I try to buy a game it makes me log in again on the new site and then when I check my publisher account it returns me to the old site again.
I own Apocalypse RPG and the associated campaign book by the same designer. It's an entirely genuine attempt at turning the events of the Rapture and the reign of the Antichrist into a RPG.
Without getting too much into the author's personal religious beliefs it would be an incredibly hard...
Hi Corvus!
While you're very welcome at the Pub I think we're probably not quite what you're looking for. We're focused on tabletop RPGs here; stuff like Dungeons and Dragons; rather than forum RP etc. Good luck finding what you're after though!
Boomers are more Facebook pages in my experience, at least the boomer RPGers I interact with.

Just "wargames". I think by now his reputation largely speaks for itself. And I don't think they really are the same concept; the structure is very different. Howard essentially makes skirmish games with RPG elements, but that's very different than how Braunsteins play out.
Resurrecting this to ask a more practical question.
If I was to write and publish my own "Braunstein" what's the polite way to handle it?
I don't think I should use "Braunstein" in the name; while sometimes used as a description for a type of game it's very much an actual sequence of games...
Yeah, the F01 Brotherhood felt grey and I liked that. There were definitely some dodgy elements, but there were also genuinely goodhearted people in it.
This site has done an extensive list of Victorian/Steampunk RPGs including the very obscure - https://www.ageofravensgames.com/blog/history-of-steampunk-amp-victoriana-rpgs-part-1-1983-1996
We are running a donation drive this month to help offset the costs of running the Pub and to avoid running intrusive ads in the future. If you would like to help out please visit this thread for more details. Thank you!
