It reminds me a lot of their take on Asgard, too.The juxtaposition of traditional Subsaharan African aesthetics (looks like a bit of a jumble of Nigerian and South African cultures to my untrained eye) and sci-fi stuff really gets the old creative juices flowing.
Yep. They are pulling in Black Panther as being a really A-team superhero in this. That and bringing in the culture, especially the dora milaje, is really turning out well. I think they are doing a great job of putting in his juxtaposition as a king and a hero, and I’m glad they called it out in the new trailer (first half of what The Butcher posted). So yeah, hell yeah. I'm up for pretty much anything Marvel Studios puts out, they've proven they do consistently good work.

I can't say I mind, but what I'm really stoked for is having an African superhero. Africa doesn't get enough love.
